Quick SitRep

Hey everyone,

I have finally arrived in LA, and have been here for just over a week. Everything has come together smoothly so far. It feels good to be here, it’s been a long time coming, but there is no time to relax just yet.

The to-do list is forever growing. I have no doubt that my goals are attainable. Not one of them is going to be a quick fix, nor an easy task; I can only pray that everything I plan will yield the results that are needed.

Pressure makes a diamond.

I had my first Independence Day yesterday. It felt very symbolic. I feel like I am establishing my independence from an empire, and learning a new way of living. Not dissimilar to a young America finding its way in the world.

As with most things that are new, there are many unknowns and there is a lot to learn.
